Calls to 9-1-1 soon will cost $300?

In California, one town is going to start charging for calls to 911! Is this what is in store for the rest of us? Probably. Just what are we paying taxes for, government waste?  The residents of this town should pull their heads from their asses and remove all the local politicians from office if this is their solution to balancing the budget.  In a life-or-death situation, people shouldn't have to worry about how much the call will cost...
