I read about these people last night and did some very interesting research, It seems that this agency will watch and wait for something to go viral on the internet, copyright it "quickly"then anyone who repost anything they have copyrighted will be "shookdown" and forced into paying fees to settle a copyright lawsuit out of court.
They do NOT even take the time to ask a blogger to take down whatever the post was. They have "partnered" with the Las Vegas - Review Journal and the Denver Post to shakedown mom and pop bloggers who innocently copy and paste images and articles from the websites, which I should say should be boycotted all together.
This is NOTHING but a form of intimidation to get money that most "Blogger" DO NOT MAKE- I personally ask without hesitation that these people please "Sue the HELL out of me" I mean what they hell! I would love to see how it all would end up! And Damn! The exposure! Wow! You can't pay for that kind of advertising!
Bloggers have and will continue to flood the internet and should ONLY be sued if they made some mega freaking dollars from some shitty picture that wasn't probably even worth posting in the first place. As far as the Las Vegas Review and the Denver Post! You can SUCK it-
I will never and neither should any other true "Blogger" ever visit these sites- Its a setup so these "rats" can try and squeeze money out of everyone they can! People of this caliber should be held accountable for what they are doing to people. Internet images are and always will be "Public Domain" if it is done correctly.
Repost this to as many bloggers as you know- After all- We do hold the power according to the 1st Amendment! "Stand behind your fellow Blogger"
